With the hybrid cloud becoming the hottest industry trend, Cloudera needed a brand video that would not only call attention to their capabilities in the space, but would also help lift their brand in a new way.
CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
To keep the video light and engaging, Cloudera leveraged relatable and humorous metaphors to establish a hook (who doesn't love a good keytar moment?), and then bridged that to the hybrid concept through use-cases.
The narrator aids in carrying the tone and momentum throughout the piece by "breaking the fourth wall"— referencing events happening on screen as if he's witnessing those with the viewer in realtime and engaging in "conversation" with on-screen characters.
That was all combined with diverse cast and locations to help round out this impactful video.
DEPLOYMENT
The video was leveraged across web, social, sales, events, and paid media efforts. It introduced Cloudera in the H1 banner of the Cloudera home page, physical event booths, virtual event intros, and as part of multiple sales decks. A paid campaign was deployed with YouTube pre-roll and LinkedIn.
Results
Cloudera utilized The Power of AND widely across the company, such as the hero banner on the home page, on all social platforms, paid media efforts, events, and sales pitches. Praised by leadership, customers, and industry influencers alike, it punched above its weight class when it came to brand perception and recognition.
To date, it has garnered over 675,000 views on YouTube.
